Thanks to all who donated all of the books on my wish list from the Book Fair. The books that we received are great additions to our math, science, and social studies library.
DON' FORGET THAT THERE IS NO SCHOOL ON THURSDAY!!!
I have also received many addresses for Veterans. We are going to be writing letters to the Veterans that I received addresses for this Wednesday. If you know of another Veteran that you would like us to write to, it is not to late. Just email me their names and addresses and we will add them to our list.
This week in math we are continuing to work with decimals. This week we will be learning about decimals in money, the thousandths place, as well as measuring in the metric system.
This week in science we are continuing to work on science stations. The stations that your child gets to rotate through are: Magnets, Observation stations, Rocks and Minerals, and Make a clock work using water for electricity. The students are enjoying these stations.
This week in social studies we are going to learn about the history of Veterans Day and write letters to Veterans telling them thank you for serving our country.
